The MBA has issued a press release congratulating YAB Dato' Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim on the appointment as the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia:
Kuala Lumpur, November 27, 2022 - The Malaysian Biodiesel Association (MBA) congratulates YAB Dato' Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim on his appointment as the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia.
The MBA looks forward to YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar’s leadership in steering the growth of the Malaysian economy and weathering the impact from the current global economic challenges, uniting all Malaysian towards achieving a common vision of stability, prosperity and growth for the country.
The MBA will continue to give our support and co-operation to the Government of the day in the implementation of the national biodiesel mandate, which began in June 2011 and now progressing forward with the B20 in the transport sector and B7 in the industrial sector in Malaysia. We hope the Government of the day will expedite the increase of the national biodiesel mandate to B20 and beyond; which will augur well for Malaysia in the areas of energy security, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and promoting economic development; which are in line with the aspirations and strategies outlined in the Twelfth Malaysia Plan.
